Deuteronomy 31:8
“And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear not be dismayed.”
God is everywhere you are. There’s not a place that you can go, that God is not there. He’s before us; behind us, with us and in us. It’s comforting to know that He never leaves us. He knows our heart. He feels our pain. He gives us strength when we’re weak and the courage to go on. We’re never alone. Just as He was with the children of Israel in the desert, protecting them with a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day, the Lord is covering us. We should never run from Him, but instead, run to Him. To be safe in the Master’s arms, under His protected shield. I’m so glad He’s for me.
