Delphine W. Berry

Delphine W. Berry has a daily e-mail ministry, The Word, where she encourages others through her life experiences, letting people know it’s always worth trusting in the Lord. Through her e-mail ministry came the birth of her first book “One Hundred Days of Encouragement from My Heart to Yours.”

She is also an adult Sunday school teacher and motivational speaker, and she loves the Lord and continues to be overwhelmed by His daily mercies and blessings. She stands on Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Gods Will

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
-2 Chronicles 7:14

Will humble themselves and PRAY. To be humble does not mean we are weak. I believe when we humble ourselves, we realize and recognize that we can’t handle it on our own. We need the help of our Creator. He is the only one who knows all and sees all. Why wouldn’t we choose to pray to Him? In the book ‘Releasing the Ability of God Through Prayer’, Charles Capps states,

“Prayer is the legal right to ask God to supernaturally intervene on your behalf.”

I believe the people of God don’t truly understand the power, by faith, we have in praying. Prayer changes things, prayer does not change God. God’s word is settled in Heaven. Saints it’s already done. What we need, is waiting on us to pray to God and we will receive it. PRAY Saints, and watch God change things.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
